Kids & Summer Break: Chores, Cooperation & Fostering Independence

For Parents of All Ages

As kids transition from school to summer break, families adjust to new schedules and daily rhythms in the household. Setting up a summer structure to get the chores done and try new adventures can be challenging when the school routine is gone.

In this webinar, we'll share strategies to create collaboration in the family to get chores done. As a bonus, these efforts lead to benefits far beyond being responsible at home. As children & teenagers gain new skills -- building their self-esteem in the process -- their new sense of capability helps them become more independent.

In this webinar, you'll learn about:

  • making sure household tasks are truly shared by the whole family
  • why it matters for kids to learn chores (hint: life skills)
  • encouraging kids to build independence through new experiences

Your enrollment includes access to the video recording, an audio version that you can listen to podcast-style, and handouts.
